What Are You Trying To Achieve
By admin | November 16, 2008
On page SEO is always something to consider, while many people recognize it as being not quite as important as off page, ie, backlinks. The thing you need to work out first, is what you are trying to do with the particular site. You need to base the actual site design and therefore the on page SEO to some degree, on what you are trying to get the visitor to do.
For example, as you can probably tell, the main objective of this website is to promote my bonus offer for LinkVana. So obviously apart from the fact that I have named the site LinkVana|Killer Bonus, and put it on a url with that name aswell, you will also notice that I often mention the product name in my titles for my posts, and I also have the product name in several of the category names aswell. All of this helps to get me ranking higher for my chosen keyword. There are of course a few more things to mention, and I will be talking more about this in the future, but for now that should give you some good ideas to work with.
